Welcome to the Latimer Primary School website; we hope that you will find it interesting and helpful.
Latimer has served the village of Anstey for many generations, recently celebrating our 125 year anniversary. We are situated in the Charnwood area of Leicestershire, close to rural beauty spots such as Bradgate Park and Cropston Reservoir, and also within a short drive of the vibrant and multicultural city of Leicester. The rich history and variety of the local area have been deliberately woven into our curriculum, creating meaningful learning and great experiences for our pupils.
Our ethos of 'Developing Responsibility; Caring about Achievement' reflects our aim that all pupils leave Latimer as responsible individuals and members of their community, ready for secondary school with their minds full of happy memories and future aspirations, having achieved their true potential during their time with us.
We are often described as a 'happy and harmonious' school and we place children, parents and families at the heart of everything we do. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or would like to arrange a visit to our school.
