Kelly Jordan

Dr Kelly Jordan – Vice Chair of Governors

I am a Senior Lecturer in Drama and Theatre Arts at De Montfort University (DMU), with an international profile and multiple publications in the field of Contemporary Performance and Philosophy. Moreover, I have over twenty years of teaching experience across a range of educational settings and levels, from teaching early years in a stage school to supervising doctoral students at DMU.

I am also an external examiner for the University of East London, and was previously an external examiner at Middlesex University. These previous work engagements have given me a strong understanding of high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, which I draw on in my work as a governor at Latimer.

Importantly, my daughter attended Latimer and my son is in his final year at the school, so ensuring that pupils achieve the best possible outcomes is a priority close to my heart. I joined the board of governors in 2016 and continue to enjoy seeing the school and its pupils thrive.
